Very cool thank you! I know my old cardshop hangout is no longer in business but there have to be tons of them in the Portland area. I just don't want to teach him my old ways and have him learn wrong from the start.

On a unrelated side note I did get a bit giddy when he almost without thought gravitated to the black and blue cards and showed the most interest in them as those were my favorite colors to play back then. It was strange to look at the cards after so many years of inactivity.

The best part was explaining to him that you get to be a "mage" and these are the spells in your spellbook etc and seeing him grasp the concept and get so excited. I remembered what it was like when I was given my first starter deck and how excited I was when I opened it. I still have the Shivan I pulled from it so many years ago.

I have been looking at the sidebar links since I made this post and am a bit relieved to see it hasn't changed too awful much but from what I can tell many of my cards are unusable now.
