Just as with the interventionist US foreign policy there comes a time when you have to realize that continuing with the same strategy is no longer financially viable.

They're called out for it too. They're sluts, whores, tramps, perverts, creepers, etc... and heavily stigmatized in society. Does the same happen in the gay community? Is there really a higher percentage of those types of people in the gay community as Offensive_Brute claims, or is it about the same as in the straight community?

Serious questions there. I'm not agreeing with Offensive_Brute since almost all of the gay people I know are of the "working professional" group and are in committed, long term relationships.

Maryland requires 10,000 signatures for ballot access for new parties. The Libertarian Party is now deemed to have only 6,583 valid signatures, and the Green Party now has only 5,919 valid signatures.

Way to go Democrats and Republicans! Yay for keeping the little guy down and limiting our choices! /s

Now the Libertarians and Greens have to spend more time and money gathering signatures instead of spending that time and money campaigning.

When Gingrich (who cheated on TWO of his wives) goes on TV numerous times talking about the sanctity of marriage and how we should have constitutional bans on gay marriage none of the talking heads on TV call him out on it. None of the Republican "strategists" on TV laugh at him for such blatant hypocrisy.

This article simply parrots what the Paul campaign is saying. The Paul campaign doesn't think they'll have enough to win in Tampa but if Paul supporters continue gaining positions of influence and continue being active in the Republican party then the tide will turn in 2014 with the Congressional races and that will set the stage for 2016.

Go to your state convention, and continue going to your local GOP events. Stay involved.
