This business is all about your reputation, and to start it by taking someone else's job as a scab would be the worst possible way to do it, and one that would be virtually impossible to recover from. Regardless of the union/scab issue, any organization that treats their employees as the former musicians of the LSO have been treated is not one that will treat future employees any better, so anyone who thinks this is is a good job opportunity will be sorely disappointed very shortly.
