I really hope that give us sub-pixel font sizes - then we can zoom text nicely.

I feel for you here, hubo. I can't believe what a scumbag chefjeffery is. Not only has he done something that is morally (if not legally) wrong (ripping off your designs), he is desperately casting aspersions at you in an attempt to muddy the waters.

His argument is ridiculous. Even if your PSD was actually badly formatted (though that is a purely subjective thing), that does not mean he has a right to rip off your design. And yet he has the gall to come on here and attack you. Beggar's belief. What an absolute scumbag.

I am using exact same browser as you but can't seem to replicate. Can you remember what steps you took before it happened?

Thanks for the kind offer.

Firstly, let me explain how it is meant to work. As what you might consider a bug might be desired behaviour.

The admin panel is meant to appear and disappear on click rather than on mousein-mouseout.

At present, the admin panel is meant to appear again when you go to a new page - even if you have minimised it on a previous page. I can see why this is annoying, and will do some work to save the state of the admin panel during browser sessions.

I haven't decided that yet. It will depend on what you want to do with it. But we are talking $1000s rather than £100s or £10s.

For example, if someone just wanted a single timeline hosted on their company's website, we would not charge anywhere near as much as for a digital agency, say, that wanted to sell timelines created using the software to their clients.

How would you like to use the software?

Thanks for the feedback. The time=based image transitions is a good idea.

I have upgraded jQuery now so hopefully it will now work in IE9.

Creating timelines from RSS feeds is in the roadmap.

You can embed your timelines already but this is only available in the premium account - I've got to pay for bandwidth costs somehow!

Thanks for that. It would have taken ages for me to pinpoint the IE9 error if I had not know jQuery was the problem. I have upgraded jQuery now so hopefully it will now work.

Logaruthmic scales are in the roadmap. But at present not a big priority. So there is so much other stuff to do!

Date pickers can be a pain too! I think if you are entering loads of dates, typing is just easier. Maybe i'll offer the option of both.

I am not sure what is going on with the admin menu. What browser are you using. Does it pop down when you go to a new page on the site. Or does it just keep popping up and down.

Idle is probably quite a good description of me. I am actually quite lazy! This took me far longer than it should have. Anyway, to your question.

I start most projects by mocking up a design. I then convert the design to CSS and HTML. Lastly, I add the clever javascript stuff. I then repeat this process on all the new features I add as the project progresses.

I tend to hand code everything, using just a simple text editor (smultron on the mac) rather than an IDE. I didn't use PM software - it was only me working on the project, so there would not have been much point.

I should have used version control software but I couldn't be bothered to set it up (see, I told you I am lazy). In terms of frameworks, I made a lot of use of JQuery and one or two of its plugins. For the backend I used the Codeigniter framework, which is really cool.

Hope that helps.

Yes, it would look very slick if the background image scrolled too in a parallax manner. The only problem is that the background image would then have to be huge, and would probably take a bit long to load.

If I ever do a downloadable version, I might add that feature.
