How does a 4 gpu SLI setup like this cool properly? by BamH1in buildapc

As a Canadian... I know the feel... but what is interesting is we're the opposite for many of those examples (a house would be feet tall but distance to work would be km).

Ubisoft Weekend Sale - Assassin's Creed Franchise 50%-75% off (Bundle for $45) by tmoss726in steamdeals

Another thing to note is, steam is DRM. Also, it is also always online. If you're worried about dropping your connection, steam doesn't have your back. I found this when I was traveling. If I didn't pop it into offline mode while connected, I wasn't playing my games. I don't let this sway my decisions though, as I know 99.9% of the time, I'm connected.

I can't help but feel this is just going to be a huge virgin airline commercial.

I've had no issues with it at all and the achievements you earn in game go towards a points bank which you can spend on extra in game content (like extra maps, costumes and such).

I have a controller for this very reason. Platformers always play better with a controller and this is essentially a modern day platformer.

Just wanted to add, I had trouble scrolling past the slideshow at the top. It grabs my finger gestures an the only way to scroll past is the tiny margins on the side.

I know it is a long shot, but does anyone know some great local multiplayer games on PC? by zau64in gamingsuggestions

It is a lot of fun. I've only played it alone but I bet it would be a blast with 4 people.

Funding for school by mattcoadyin vancouver

[–]mattcoady[S] 0 points1 point ago

My girlfriend went through a private college and had her $18,000 tuition covered through bc student loans. It's not really the loan I'm concerned with. Either through provincial, national or bank student loans I can come up with the full amount, I'm more or less looking to see if there's any programs that cover portions of the tuition, like scholarships and whatnot.

I'm going to be picking up a part time job, but it'll just cover basic living expenses, won't make a scratch on the tuition load. I've been through a VFS program before and I know there isn't much time outside of school for that year. There were weeks where I had spent upwards of 80 hours in the school working on whatever.

The idea is to go to school to get a better job and payoff whatever loan I have built up, that's a given. I'd rather not waste the next 5 years on a minimum wage job when I can get a start on my career. Obviously there is nothing that will pay for the program in full, I'm just looking for scholarship resources or government programs to lessen the burden.

Well the program is $27,000 and I have $4500 in an RRSP (which you're allowed to use tax free for schooling). Seem like the rest will have to go towards a loan. I was hoping someone here knew of a government program or something that assists with paying for school or living costs.

I'm focusing on Motion design and would love to get into creative advertising. As for putting in the time, that won't be an issue. When I went through their foundation program, I pretty much lived at the school.

Exactly, I come for funding advice and everyone wants to give me career advice :/

I got in contact with various design firms around Vancouver and Seattle and pretty much across the board DD at VFS.
