Might be too late to the party, but....

I married the girl of my dreams after dating her for 5 years. It was the happiest moment of my life. Two months deep in our marriage I found out that she had been cheating on me with someone I considered a friend. This was the lowest I have ever felt in my entire life.

Drinking is not your solution to dealing with these problems, trees however is always a plus. I am not saying become a stoner, but I am saying don't drink to bury your problems, they will still be there in the morning. It is going to take time, but you need to accept what happened and move on with your life one day at a time.

I made the poor choice of hanging on, I am still hanging on today, and it has been a year. My life has not improved because I allow her to 'own' me. I would drop on a dime just to be there for her. Don't make the same mistakes I am currently making. Don't focus on meeting someone new right away, focus your energy on yourself. Find a hobby you enjoy, start running, hang out with your friends. All of the shitty feelings can go away if you allow them to. As I am writing this, I realize now what I must do.
