Experiencing same sex desire doesn't physically prevent you from conceiving children, nor does it prevent you from wanting to have or raise kids. The heterosexual need to feel more natural and normal than everyone else makes them notoriously bad at thinking through issues of gender, sex, and reproduction.

(PS I'm not using heterosexual to mean heterosexual, I'm just using it to mean "bad," even though context would suggest otherwise. Language has obviously changed as of a quarter of a minute ago.)
