Trafficking heroin. 2 years and $4k later, my atty got it amended to misdemeanor possession of controlled substance. I missed a courtdate the first time and the next day 12 cops showed up at my house. I guess they have to be cautious but it seemed silly.I spent the next 8 days in a tank and got 2 years probation with a year on the shelf. I think that means if I get in touble I will have to serve 60% of a year. Regret, meh, kinda keeps me in line.
