He's talking about the USA, that's why there's been so much innovation in alternative energy, i.e. hydrogen, electrical energy etc in recent years outside the USA.

Behringer C-1U is , IMO, A pretty solid choice. I had a Behringer C-1 for about 6 months (before it broke, It fell out my car if you must know) which is the XLR (mixing desk, not USB) Version of the C-1U, It's got a pretty good sound to it, perfect for crisp voiceovers.

In terms of audio editing, even freeware such as audacity would do the trick, if you learned how to use it properly.

Seriously considering taking a year or so out after school (age 18) and heading on my bike, wherever the road may take me. anyone got any experiences/ways to scare me off? by __horizontal__in bicycletouring

really? 16 quid!? That's brilliant! It's £4.55 just to get a bus into the nearest town these days, that's not bad at all. Cheers!

Thanks, same to yourself, I would love to do america, purely for the fact that it is such a huuuuuuuuge country with pretty good transport and road systems to get from A to B. Good luck with that!

yeah I like the idea of the no debt thing, even if I find somewhere I really love, and want to spend the rest of my life there or something else weird like that, I can have plenty of time/lack of debt to do it. Thanks for the encouragement!

thanks for the encouragement, Like I said, It's only an idea at the moment, but I'm definitely going to do it at some point in my life, and just after school seems like the perfect time, I can work out what I want to do with my life, and if I like it so much, I've got plenty time left to do it again!

good luck with that, that's my predicament too, I've NO IDEA where I want to go. I really fancy Bavaria, or the Italian / French Riviera.

Thanks for this, one thing I've been concerned about is accommodation, but if there's hostels, then that's a weight off my mind I suppose, I would love to take a trip from home to wherever I am going, as the Idea of getting my bike on a plane doesn't really appeal to me to be honest.

Can anyone help identify the bike that I purchased on Craigslist? by j0nathanp3tersin bicycling
