Except he testified to congress, under oath, that banning collective bargaining "doesn't save any" money.

You're falling for a line of bullshit. I suspect it's because you want to.

The only real difference between signing a petition and voting is that the former isn't anonymous.

National referendum to limit congressional terms? by icanhazPhDin politics

[–]Wisco 0 points1 point ago

I'd think it would be obvious. Show me where in the Constitution it spells out the laws for holding a national referendum? You're not going to have any luck. You'd need to amend the Constitution to set up the mechanism, meaning the Constitution does not allow for it now.

Besides, term limits are a simplistic non-solution. Get money out of politics -- experience is not a handicap.

A national referendum is unconstitutional.

Unfortunately for Robert Reich, this submission is going to have to be deleted by the mods. I've been told that Tumblr is a verboten blog platform on r/politics.

The new "no editorializing in headlines" rule is being taken to such an extreme that adding any context at all gets your post pulled. Under these rules, "Kennedy Assassinated" would have to be changed to "Man Shot in Dallas."

And, as far as this post goes, I asked what about it was inappropriate and got no answer. So that remains a mystery.

I tried to post it in r/politics, but a mod told me it "wasn't appropriate for this subreddit." The subreddit is a shithole of censorship now -- no opinions allowed.
