Why do Castle & Beckett Go Places Alone? by SirElkarOwheyin CastleTV

It's cause there's that added "she can beat you to a pulp" factor.

/r/engineering, tell me about your job! by zzoldanin engineering

[–]Ormith 0 points1 point ago

I'm a Mechanical Engineering Technologist. Not a proper engineer, it was a three year college program. All the math, but more hands on.

I had an easier time finding a job as a technologist then my bachelor of engineering friends had. I'm not sure if it's because I'm cheaper to hire or if there's simply a greater demand. Technologists have much more engineering training than technicians but less theoretical knowledge than B. Engs.

I'm a mechanical designer for a small manufacturing firm. We machine propellers and other odd shapes. It's fun, I get my hands dirty on occation and we make tangible products.

Paperworks suck.

As soon as I saw they were playing Catan, I knew the wood jokes were cuming.

Look who I found practicing a little wizardry of his own in Merlin. Petunia and Vernon would be so disappointed. by HeyitistillKatein harrypotter

Wow. Did they stick him in a fat suit for the movies, like Neville?

Conspiracies, murder and phone sex, oh Mayor! by dorvin CastleTV

[–]Ormith 5 points6 points ago

I spotted Michael Grant Terry (Wendell from Bones) quickly and knew that he would have a speaking role and not be a simple extra. It ruined a little bit of the mystery. Not much, but I figured early that he'd end up spilling info to Beckett.

S04E11 - "Til Death Do Us Part" discussion by kirbyfoodin CastleTV

I enjoyed the twist. I was expecting a drawn out scene with Ryan angsting over his fiances past, thoughts of calling off the wedding and other melodrama.

Instead he just steals their food.

Edit: spelling

There's something about the end of Lethal Inspection that just kills me. That beautiful song and cute little baby bender. It's all just so sweet. :')

Jurassic Bark though will always make me cry. Tearing up just reading the article.

"You never told me about that rule!" by TheCyborganizerin boardgames

[–]Ormith 0 points1 point ago

I always try to get new people to read the rules, but I'm usually cut off by someone saying "they'll learn as we go."

We were playing Settlers and I built a settlement on an open spot in an opponents road. Completely legal, I cut his road in two and took longest road. He whined, said "I didn't know you could do that." Too bad.
