One can be rude without outright insulting or cursing at another, although you don't seem to have a problem with debaser28 saying "Fuck you" and "go to hell" to me on more than one occasion, even though that seems to fit within your personal definition of rudeness.

I've asked you more than once to demonstrate what your problem is with me other than what's in this thread, yet you are unable or unwilling to do so. It would seem that you are the one typing a lot but saying little. If you choose to be more specific in your complaint, let me know. otherwise I decline to interact with you anymore on this point.

When I said it was a knee jerk reaction, I was referring to the pronouncement that the Angels are now a clearly better team. THAT was the knee jerk reaction I had a problem with, which should have been obvious since that was the part of his comment I mentioned in my reply. I wasn't referring to anything about CJ being well-liked or anything about his record.

I don't know what long winded diatribe you're referring to. Perhaps you are confusing my replies with debaser28's, who regularly posted replies 3 to 4 times the length of mine when he disagreed with me. Or perhaps you're referring to the reply I posted in this very thread quoting some of examples of his criticisms of the Rangers. That's not really a diatribe; that's just a selection of quotes. Feel free to clarify what you're referring to.

And finally, I am unable to find any thread anywhere where I replied to a comment from you. I have never interacted with you on Reddit before today, unless, perhaps, to respond to a news link you might have posted. As best as I can tell, I have never directly replied to a comment from you or had a conversation with you. So again, please show me what you're referring to when you say I have resorted to such childish behavior towards yourself. Or anyone besides debaser, for that matter.

Unless, perhaps, you are referring to this thread, in which you were being incredibly rude to another poster for no reason and I said as much. That wasn't even a reply to you, but it's as close I could find to whatever you're talking about. So in that case... I'm very sorry that I pointed out your rudeness and received upvotes for doing so.

If you can find other examples of where I've resorted to insults when people disagree with me, I would like to see them. I went back a month or so and didn't see much. Feel free to dig deeper.

Debaser28 started to get on my nerves in this thread when he reacted in a knee jerk fashion to the Angels signing Pujols and CJ. I thought my first reply was valid and exceedingly reasonable. He persisted in his baseless claims and sounded like he was ready to write off the rangers altogether. I suggested he do so, and you can read his reply for yourself.

A troll persists in antagonizing and insulting people even after that behavior is pointed out to them as undesirable. Hence, he's a troll in my book. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me if they aren't dicks about it, but clearly I'm not the only one who finds him rude and disrespectful in his disagreeing.

I love that Zite lets you add favorites to Evernote for future reference. I like Flipboard too, but when you star something there it goes to your damn Twitter favorites. I think that is super lame. Pulse News is good for marking favorites too, because it just keeps track of them within the app, as it should. All three are well worth installing though, IMO.

You have Young, who absolutely sucks, and Moreland who can't hit and isn't much of a glove man, either.
I'm not comfortable with Gentry/Borbon in center. It's the Borbon part of the platoon that worries me.
So Moreland was hurt. I don't know if that explains much. I never really though much of him. He's probably better than what he was in the second half, but he's going to provide below average offense and defense at first base.
Spending money on offense after letting go their number one starting pitcher? That's not a formula for success.
Feliz is no answer. Most of the year he sat around 95, 96 mph. His command was awful and he is afraid to throw a breaking ball. Not starter material.
I think Feliz will be a starter but I can't imagine him being a very good one with his command issues.
[Wilson] and Pujols just made the Angels a clear favorite in the division
the Rangers have so far done nothing to improve their team and in fact have gotten worse while the Angels have gotten quite a lot better.
Lewis -- He's not that good. Definitely nothing close to a #1. If Wilson is a #3 like some say, Lewis is a #5 at best. I don't actually believe that, but that's the difference between the two.
Holland -- Still young. He had a good run there late in the year, but he's still young. I don't like a guy so inexperienced at the top of the rotation on a team like this.
Harrison -- Overperformed last season. Not a bad pitcher but someone who should be a #5 on a good team.
Feliz -- I don't think this is going to go well. As a starter he's not going to be throwing 100 mph gas. His secondaries are a big concern, and his command is worse. Feldman will likely take his spot after five or six starts.
Pujols signing with the Angels doesn't bother me a whole lot, but losing Wilson's production to the Angels does. I don't know why the ownership let that happen.

Ownership is who I'm starting to lose faith in.
Chavez wasn't that good. He was lucky last year with a .321 babip. And he's older so he's unlikely to get any better. Borbon is probably a better fielder and is faster on the bases. [which is weird since just recently you were so concerned about Borbon platooning CF]

A: Hamilton, Young, Andrus, Harrison, most of the bullpen.

And that's just since the season ended, more or less. I left out a lot of the trash you talk about Young, since you went ahead and copped to doing that.

Here's the thing... if more than one person is telling you that you're behaving douchily or disrespectfully... maybe you are. Although, repeatedly telling someone to fuck off and go to hell is pretty much all the evidence you should need to know you're disrespectful.

You're overly critical and present your opinions as fact, and that's not the desired vibe in this subreddit. And if you don't think the samples above count as "criticizing," then that very well could be the root of your problem.

I, for one, would appreciate it if you would keep this kind of behavior at Lone Star Ball, where criticizing the team is practically a requirement, and boorish behavior is expected and encouraged.
