IAE dumbfounded as to how some of your fellow classmates ever got into this school?

I guess I've been lucky with group projects. I transfered to RIT from FLCC, where almost everyone is lazy as hell and the expectations are extremely low (like MCC). I've only had one group project with issues, in 4002-409, where two out of three of my group members hadn't a clue about web-design or PHP and could careless if the project was done. I still know a few lazy-ass people in IT, but it seems most are weeded out by year 3-4.

Any books I plan to keep I buy off Amazon, otherwise I just rent books from CampusBookRentals.com.

I'm an Information Technology major with a concentration in Web Design and Database Management actually (high five). Just trying to get things done here before they go to semesters.

I like the design, but I think you used to much spacing between the header image and the navigation and things are a tad bit large. Also, remember the content that is "Above the fold" should make the user want to continue viewing.

The portfolio will highlight different websites I've worked on. I consider myself a developer more so than a designer. I was thinking of just displaying work in a post-like style.

I like the design overall, but the text-shadow on the header is a little detracting to my eyes. Darken your link tags, at least in navigation.
