No needlers unfortunately. There was a lot of free booze, a 'celebrity' vs gamers tournament, more free booze, a bunch of rigs set up for attendees to play on, and more free booze.

Meh. It's a 2 year old photo. We've all made mistakes. For example I pre-ordered the DNF Balls Of Steel edition.

It was a great event and they even let us hold the BR and sniper. Heavy as fuck.

I've been rocking a DS now for quite some time but I rarely find myself playing it. I was intrigued by the 3DS but my eyes don't work well with 3D.

I was really impressed with the Vita though. It plays really well and looks incredible. Wish they'd fix that vile looking interface though :P

I agree, the 3DS launching at that price was mental. I was never really that interested in the PSP.

I think the majority of gamers get put off by paying a similar price for a handheld that they would a console. It might all work out on paper but it's probably a psychological thing.

Monster Hunter would be an amazing addition!

I'm currently waiting for a price drop. Sony hardware post PS2 has always put me off with their launch prices. The PS3 at launch was between $500 and $600 which is insane.

Too many 'Plasma Grenades' which was a weird blue cocktail they were handing out for free at the event. It was absolutely vile. MS do throw a pretty damn good party though.

It'll sell to the majority of die hard MGS fans, for sure. A friend of mine bought the Japanese and English edition of the HD collection because he's a massive fan of the series.

I can't see many people picking it up though if they've already got it on console seeing as it's been out for quite a while now.
