I really liked this episode. There was a lot of memorable moments, and although it didn't continue the plot line it was really sweet

I particularly loved the ending with Beckett and Castle walking down the asile. It was cheesy, but really cute. Ryan and Espo's bro love is awesome as well. Not to mention Castle describing his 'date' Alexis and how Beckett was a little upset by it at first.

The size of Beckett's heels are getting ridiculous ie: the wedding.

If she was wearing those while on a case, then yeah they'd be off, but frankly for a wedding, they were fine.

But she does wear equally sized heels on the job.

I can look beyond it but sometimes it really forces you to suspend reality and takes you out of the moment of the show.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought so.

I was not paying attention to the shoes.

I got super frustrated by the Israeli Army bit, all I could think was "Yea, along with 70% of the country."

Love the episode. It felt kind of like the old Castle to me, with the Castle/Beckett dynamic, Ryan/Espo shenanigans, and lack of the new captain's interference. Although the title didn't hit me that it was talking about Ryan's wedding until right before I started watching it, I'd been thinking about the title for a week or two in advance and imagined it would be a marital case that ended up bringing Castle and Beckett together somehow. Not disappointed, though.

I for one really liked how Ryan handled Jenny being in the hook-up book

That was probably the worst part for me. It seems like it was the C or D plot in an episode that had too much and, at the same time, too little going on.

I enjoyed the twist. I was expecting a drawn out scene with Ryan angsting over his fiances past, thoughts of calling off the wedding and other melodrama.

Instead he just steals their food.

Edit: spelling

It wasn't a twist, it was a bit of false tension that ended up sputtering out.

Same here. I loved that they basically took the trope/expectation and turned it on its head.

What were they referring to with "third time's the charm" at the end?

Castle has been married 2 times before.
